AFM Bakers’ Coalition Agreement and Consent

1. Purpose

This agreement is made between participating vendors of the “AFM Bakers’ Coalition”, hereinafter referred to as the “Coalition,” to facilitate shared delivery responsibilities (when needed) while complying with Texas Cottage Food Laws.

2. Membership Requirements

Vendors must be registered under Texas Cottage Food Laws and maintain compliance with all labeling, sales, and delivery regulations.
Each vendor agrees to personally deliver their own products OR assign an authorized agent (owner of AFM) or another vendor within the coalition as needed) to complete deliveries on their behalf.

3. Delivery Structure

Vendors will work together to optimize delivery routes and reduce travel time.
When needed a rotating delivery schedule will be established, where vendors take turns fulfilling deliveries within designated regions.
Each vendor must ensure their products are properly labeled before handing them off to a delivery partner.

4. Order Fulfillment & Record Keeping

The Artisan Farmers Market platform will collect orders and assign vendors to each sale.
Vendors must maintain a record of all orders delivered through the coalition, including:
- Customer name & delivery address
- Vendor responsible for production
- Vendor responsible for delivery
Customers must be informed at checkout about the vendor responsible for production and delivery.

5. Liability & Responsibilities

Each vendor remains solely responsible for the safety and legality of their products.
The coalition and its members do not assume liability for another vendor’s products.
Any disputes related to product quality must be resolved between the customer and the vendor who produced the item.
