This Strawberry Fig Preserves is a little bit of Heaven in a jar. It is the real deal, made from fresh organic strawberries and figs. Sweet! This jelly was inspired by an 80-year old guy that sent his granddaughter to the farmer's market to get "anything strawberry fig". Perhaps he was remembering his Mom or Grandma making Strawberry Jello Fig Preserves in the 1950s. I think this recipe successfully captures that flavor and the nostalgic moment.
