Thank you for joining The Artisan Farmers Market Community (“we,” “us,” “our”). Please review the below before continuing with your registration.

By registering as a vendor and using our platform, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in account suspension or termination.


1. Eligibility Requirements

1.1. Vendors must be at least 18 years of age or older or have parental consent to join the market.

1.2. Vendors must provide accurate and up-to-date business information, business address, contact details and pertinent certificates (ex. safe food handling, etc.).

1.3. Products listed must comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

**Please note that we try to avoid too much duplication of products and will accept new vendors on a first-come, first-serve basis. If we do not have the capacity to support your businessโ€™ product line currently, we would be more than happy to add you to our waiting list should a spot be available.**


2. Product Guidelines

2.1. Permitted Products:

  • Fresh produce, dairy, meats, baked goods, and other food items.
  • Handmade or artisan goods.
  • Natural products such as soaps, candles, or oils.

2.2. Prohibited Products:

  • Illegal or counterfeit goods.
  • Products containing hazardous materials.
  • Items that violate intellectual property laws.

2.3. Food Safety:

  • Vendors selling food items must comply with all relevant health and safety standards.
  • Vendors must obtain and maintain any required permits, licenses, or certifications.

2.4. Produce Growers and Farmers Guidelines:

  • Growers must ensure that all produce is fresh and free from contaminants.
  • Vendors must adhere to organic or pesticide use disclosures as applicable.
  • Clear labeling of produce origin and farming practices is required (e.g., organic, non-GMO).

3. Vendor Responsibilities

3.1. Vendors are responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate product descriptions (including allergens), prices, and inventory.
  • Packaging of products with state required labeling (ex. Cottage Food Laws, etc.)
  • Ensuring timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Handling customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

3.2. Vendors must ensure that products are packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.

3.3. Vendors must not engage in fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive practices.

3.4. You will have access to your own dashboard to manage content and your inventory on your vendor page on our website.

**We are available to help set-up/manage your store if technology is not your forte. There is a 30% commission involved with this additional service**


4. Fees and Payments

4.1. Vendors will be charged a 13% fee on each sale made through our platform. (2.9% +$0.30/sale for payment processing, 5.1% for transaction fees, 5% for platform fee) **Price your products accordingly to ensure best outcomes for your shop**

4.2. You are responsible to make your monthly subscription payments (Subscriptions range from $20-$45/month). Overdue payments will result in the suspension of your store.

4.2.1 Vendors may place their vendor membership on hold for a max. of 3 months per calendar year ( minimum 1 month increments).

4.2.2 ย Starting in 2026, a small event commission will apply to AFM-covered/hosted events. The commission is 10% of event sales, capped at $100 per event, this helps with event coordination so vendors can participate with less upfront cost.

4.3. Payments to vendors will be processed based on vendor withdrawal requests if a minimum balance of $30 is present and after order fulfillment, minus any applicable fees. Vendors must set-up their payment method, under “Settings” tab–“Payments” within the vendor dashboard. **See “Vendor Resources tab” at top of Vendor Dashboard for further instructions.**

“Multi-Vendor Delivery” participating vendors will be paid out the first Thursday of every month, if their balance meets the minimum requirement. An email will be sent with the amount owed to the vendor, payments will be sent via Venmo/Direct Bank Transfer/ Check.

4.3. Vendors are responsible for any transaction fees associated with payment processing.

4.4. Vendors are responsible for reporting and remitting any taxes due on sales (if applicable) made through the platform and/or for shipping.


5. Shipping and Fulfillment

5.1. Vendors must ship/delivery products within the specified time frame as outlined in their product listings.

5.2. Vendors are responsible for setting and managing their shipping policies, including rates and regions served.

5.3. Tracking information must be provided to customers where applicable.

Multi-Vendor Delivery:

Vendors who participate in the multi-vendor delivery option must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Customer Deliveries are made weekly by The Artisan Farmers Market on Wednesday. (12:30-5:30p)
  • Drop-Off Location: Orders must be dropped off at The Artisan Farmers Market warehouse located at 8474 IH 10 W, Orange, Texas, 77632;  between 1-4p Tuesday or 8:30-11:00a Wednesday or Beaumont 11:30a-12:30a (unless alternate arrangements are made in advance). 
  • Ensure products are ready for delivery to the customer and any additional handling instructions if applicable.
  • Clearly label products with customer details to avoid order mix-ups.
  • Collaborate with other vendors to streamline drop-off logistics when possible.

6. Customer Disputes and Refunds

6.1. Vendors are required to handle returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with their stated policies.

6.2. In the event of a dispute, we may mediate but do not guarantee resolution in favor of either party.


7. Prohibited Conduct

7.1. Vendors must not:

  • Use the platform for illegal activities.
  • Misrepresent their business or products.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm customers or other vendors.

7.2. Vendors must respect intellectual property rights and must not upload copyrighted or trademarked content and concept without permission.


8. Platform Use

8.1. We reserve the right to:

  • Remove listings that violate these terms.
  • Suspend or terminate vendor accounts for non-compliance.

8.2. Vendors must not attempt to circumvent platform fees or processes.


9. Termination

9.1. Vendors may terminate their account at any time by providing written notice.

9.2. We reserve the right to terminate a vendorโ€™s account for violations of these terms or for any reason at our discretion, with or without prior notice.


10. Limitation of Liability

10.1. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from vendor transactions or interactions.

10.2. Vendors agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising out of their use of the platform.


11. Changes to Terms and Conditions

11.1. We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Vendors will be notified of significant changes.

11.2. Continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.


12. Governing Law

12.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Texas.


13. Privacy Policy

13.1. Vendors must comply with our Privacy Policy, which outlines the collection, use, and protection of personal data.

13.2. Vendors are responsible for safeguarding customer information obtained through the platform and must not use it for purposes outside of order fulfillment or customer service.

13.3. Vendors must notify us immediately if a data breach or unauthorized access to customer information occurs.


By registering as a vendor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
